Project Shoebox Server

Introduction

I'd like to build an affordable, compact, quiet server that includes a PCI card laid down at an angle using a flexible PCI riser so as to stick it underneath a mini-ITX motherboard and keep the case as small as possible:

I have an Intel Atom-based Gigabyte GA-GC230D motherboard that works just fine. The CPU fan isn't too noisy, but it can probably be silenced more by using a Zamlan heatsink and adding a resistor to slow the fan down:

Questions

Is there a compact, affordable, computer case that I could use? Otherwise, how can I build one myself?
